Reading the Target: Translation as Translation, a symposium which was held at the University of East Anglia on the 23rd-24th March. Janet is a PhD student in the Department of Culture, researching Hermann Broch's late work under the supervision of Drs
Fritz Wefelmeyer and
Geoff Nash. Her paper was entitled 'A Question of Intuition? An exploration of the art of translation in Hermann Broch's
The Death of Vergil (
Der Tod des Vergil)'.
